How do I create an account?

Open the TowardGod app, enter your email address, and tap "Continue." We'll send you a magic link — tap the link in your email to sign in automatically. No password required.

What are the three reflection labels?

Toward God — for moments of spiritual growth, gratitude, or closeness to God. Need Prayers — to ask the community for prayer and support. Away from God — an honest acknowledgment of spiritual distance or struggle. Every post requires one of these labels.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Tap the "..." menu on any post or comment, then select "Report." Choose the reason that best fits — Inappropriate content, Spam, Harassment, False information, or Other — and submit. Our team reviews all reports.

How do I block another user?

Visit the profile of the user you want to block, tap the "..." menu, and select "Block User." Once blocked, their posts will no longer appear in your feed and they will not be able to interact with your content.

Can I edit or delete a post?

You can delete your own posts at any time by tapping the "..." menu on your post and selecting "Delete." Editing posts is not currently supported; please delete and re-post if you need to make a correction.

How do I change my username?

Go to your Profile tab, tap the edit (pencil) icon, and then tap "Change Username." Enter your new username and save. Usernames must be unique across the platform.

I didn't receive my magic link email. What should I do?

First, check your spam or junk folder. Magic link emails are sent from noreply@towardgodapp.com. If you still don't see it, try again after a few minutes (only one link can be active at a time). If the issue persists, contact us at support@towardgodapp.com.

How do I share a post with someone outside the app?

Tap the share icon on any post. You'll get a link (e.g., towardgodapp.com/post/...) you can share via messages, email, or any other app. If the recipient has TowardGod installed, the link will open directly to the post.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your Profile tab → Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Once deleted, your personal information is removed and your posts are anonymized. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Is TowardGod affiliated with a specific church or denomination?

No. TowardGod is a non-denominational community platform. We welcome believers from all Christian backgrounds and faith traditions. We do not endorse any specific theological position or church organization.

Is the app free?

Yes. TowardGod is free to download and use. We do not have in-app purchases or a subscription fee at this time.

My app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try signing out and back in. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If the problem continues, email us at support@towardgodapp.com with a description of the issue and your device model and OS version.
